  3.             AVAILABLE TOPICS HELP
  4.      This menu lists the topics you can examine or change while using SESSION.  To choose a topic, use the UP and DOWN keys to highlight it, and press the SELECT key.  The following help pages describe each topic briefly.
  5.      While you are in help, you may use the PAGEUP and PAGEDOWN keys to view other help pages.

  7.              AVAILABLE TOPICS HELP
  8.      The "Change Current Server" option allows you to choose which server you will use within SESSION.  This option also allows you to log in to or log out from other file servers on the internetwork.
  9.      The "Drive Mappings" option allows you to view and modify the drive-to-directory mappings.  You can also add or delete network drives with this option.

  11.             AVAILABLE TOPICS HELP
  12.      The "Search Mappings" option allows you to view and modify the search paths set up for your workstation.  You can add new search paths, including search paths on local drives.
  13.      The "Select Default Drive" option lets you pick the drive that will be used after you exit from SESSION.

  15.              AVAILABLE TOPICS HELP
  16.      The "User List" option displays a list of the users currently logged in to the selected file server.  You may send messages to one or more of these users, or you may view connection information about a user.

  18.                              USER LIST HELP
  19.      The users listed are those currently logged in to the specified file server.  If a name is displayed more than once, it means that more than one workstation has logged in to the same user account.
  20.      To broadcast a message to several users, mark all of the message recipients with the MARK key, then press the SELECT key.
  21.      To broadcast a message to a single user or view connection information about that user, highlight the desired username and press the SELECT key.

  23.              USER LIST SELECT HELP
  24.      You may either send a message to the chosen user, or view connection information about that user.  Highlight the desired option and press the SELECT key.

  26.              USER INFORMATION HELP
  27.      The information displayed includes the time the specified user logged in, as well as his or her network number, and the physical address of that user's station on the network.  You may only view the information.  Press the ESCAPE key to return to the user list.

  29.                       FILE SERVER/USERNAME HELP
  30.      This menu lists the file servers that your station is currently logged in to.  The name of the file server is shown in the left column. Your username on the server is shown in the right column.
  31.      You have the following options:
  32.      SELECT    Choose a file server to be the current server.
  33.      INSERT    Log in to another file server.
  34.      DELETE    Log out from a file server.
  35.      MODIFY    Change to a different username on a file server.

  37.            LOG OUT FROM SERVER HELP
  38.      To log out from the highlighted server, answer YES.  Otherwise, answer NO or press the ESCAPE key.

  40.              LOG IN TO SERVER HELP
  41.      You cannot log in to an additional file server because your station is already attached to 8 servers.  (A station cannot be logged in to more than 8 servers simultaneously.)  You must log out from one of the servers to which you are currently logged in before you can log in to any other servers.

  43.            OTHER FILE SERVERS HELP
  44.      This menu lists the network file servers you are not logged in to.
  45.      To log in to any of these file servers, highlight the server and press the SELECT key.

  47.                 USERNAME HELP
  48.      Type the username you wish to use when you are logging in to the highlighted file server.
  49.      If you do not have a username on the selected file server, you can usually log in as GUEST.

  51.                  PASSWORD HELP
  52.      The username you have selected has a password. Type the password, then press the SELECT key.
  53.      The password is not shown on the screen as you type it.  This prevents others from learning it.

  55.                NEW USERNAME HELP
  56.      You were unable to change to the specified username because you typed an incorrect username or password, or an incorrect username-password pair.

  58.      YOU CANNOT LOG OUT FROM YOUR DEFAULT SERVER HELP
  59.      You cannot log out from the file server that is associated with your current default drive.  Doing so would invalidate your workstation's current drive.

  61.       DEFAULT USER CANNOT BE CHANGED HELP
  62.      You cannot change to a different username on the file server associated with your current default drive.  Doing so would invalidate your station's current default drive.

  64.               NEW USERNAME HELP
  65.      Type the username you want to use when logging in to the highlighted file server, then press the SELECT key.

  67.            CHANGE USER PASSWORD HELP
  68.      To log in as the user you have selected, you will need to use that user's password.  Type the password, then press the SELECT key.
  69.      The password is not shown on the screen as you type it.  This prevents unauthorized users from learning your password.

  71.        ACCESS TO FILE SERVER DENIED HELP
  72.      You were unable to log in to the file server because you typed an incorrect username or password, or an incorrect username-password pair.

  74.                    DRIVE MAPPING HELP
  75.      This menu lists the local and network drives that you have set up, with the exception of search drives.  The following operations are available:
  76.      SELECT    Display drive information
  77.      MODIFY    Change a drive's directory mapping
  78.      DELETE    Delete a drive mapping
  79.      INSERT    Add a new drive mapping

  81.               DELETE DRIVE HELP
  82.      To delete the directory mapping for the highlighted drive, answer YES.  Otherwise, answer NO or press the ESCAPE key.

  84.             LOCAL DRIVE MAPPING HELP
  85.      The drive letter that you selected was mapped to a local drive.  If you remap the drive letter to a network directory, you will not be able to access the local drive again until you delete the network drive mapping.
  86.      If you want to remap the drive letter to a network directory, answer YES; otherwise answer NO or press the ESCAPE key.

  88.              ALL DRIVES IN USE HELP
  89.      All of the drive letters, A through Z, are currently in use.  Before a new drive may be added, one of the current drive mappings must be deleted.

  91.                   DRIVE HELP
  92.      Press SELECT to map the displayed drive.  To pick another drive, press the BACKSPACE key and then enter the desired drive letter (A through Z).

  94.               INVALID DRIVE HELP
  95.      The drive letter you specified was not valid.  The drive letter should be a letter in the range from "A" to "Z."

  97.            DRIVE ALREADY IN USE HELP
  98.      The specified drive is already in use.  Search drives are not listed here, but they also take up drive letters.  Search drive letters are allocated beginning with "Z" and progressing towards "A."  Try again and pick a drive letter closer to "A."
  99.      To change the specified drive's directory mapping, use the MODIFY key.

  101.           DELETE CURRENT DRIVE HELP
  102.      The currently selected default drive may not be deleted.  Doing so would leave no valid drive when you exit back to DOS.
  103.      If you really want to delete this drive, first select another drive as the current default drive.

  105.            DELETE LOCAL DRIVE HELP
  106.      A local drive which has not been remapped to a network directory may not be deleted.  If a local drive has been remapped to a network directory, deleting the network drive mapping restores the original local mapping.

  108.             DRIVE INFORMATION HELP
  109.      If the highlighted drive is mapped to a network directory, your effective rights in that directory are listed.  If the highlighted drive is mapped to a local directory, no effective rights are displayed.

  111.            CHANGE DEFAULT DRIVE HELP
  112.      To change the default drive, highlight the desired drive and press the SELECT key.  The current default drive was initially highlighted.  To leave the default drive unchanged, press the ESCAPE key.

  114.                SEND MESSAGE HELP
  115.      The message you enter will be sent to the specified individual(s).  If you want to be anonymous, erase your name and station number from the message buffer.

  117.             MESSAGE NOT SENT HELP
  118.      The message was not sent to the specified user.  Either the user has executed the CASTOFF command, or the user already has a message waiting that has not yet been received.

  120.                           BAD PATH SYNTAX HELP
  121.      The format of the DOS environment PATH variable was unacceptable. Network drives should be specified as a drive letter followed by a colon and a period  (for example, "G:.").  Local drives should be specified as a drive letter followed by a colon and a complete path specification (for example, "A:\DOS\NEW").  Multiple path specifications should be separated by semicolons.  The PATH should contain no spaces.
  122.      To repair the PATH variable, first exit to DOS and then use the PATH command to remove the incorrect path specification.

  124.              BAD DRIVE IN PATH HELP
  125.      One of the drives specified in the DOS environment PATH variable was invalid.  Further processing of the search drive mappings is not possible.

  129.      A list of the current search paths is displayed.  The following keys may be used:
  130.      INSERT    Add a new search path.

  139.      At most, 16 search paths may be specified. You must first delete one or more search paths before adding another.

  142.      Using the default search drive number will make the new search drive the last.  Specifying a smaller number will insert the new search path in front of the old path with that number.

  145.      All drive letters, A through Z, are currently in use.  Either modify a previously used drive letter to point to the desired directory, or delete a drive mapping before inserting a new one.

  147.         INVALID SEARCH DRIVE NUMBER HELP
  148.      The specified search drive number is invalid.  The highest number allowed is one higher than the highest search drive number displayed.  If you specify a lower search drive number, the search drive will be inserted in front of the existing search drive with the same number.

  152.      Only the local drive specified in the error message may be selected.  Press the INSERT key to view a list of the available local drives, then choose the correct drive.

  154.                   CHANGE PASSWORD HELP
  155.      Your password has expired and should be changed. However, your login was successful because you were allowed a grace login.
  156.      Usually the network supervisor will limit the number of grace logins.  Therefore, future login attempts may be denied if you do not change your password.

  158.            INVALID VOLUME NAME HELP
  159.      The volume name specified in the path contained invalid characters.  Use the INSERT key to view available volumes, then select a new volume.

  162.      The specified path does not exist.  Use the INSERT key to view the available file servers, volumes, directories, and subdirectories, and select a new path.

  181.      The volumes of the chosen server are listed here.  To select a volume, highlight it and press the SELECT key.  Highlighting the ".." entry and pressing the SELECT key will return you to the server selection screen.

  184.      The groups listed are those defined on the current file server.  To send a message to the members of a group or groups that are logged in, highlight the desired group and press the SELECT key or MARK the desired groups and press the SELECT KEY.

  187.      Local drives are not allowed in the path specification.  Use the INSERT key to view the available directories, then select a network directory.

  235. Map root allows the user to simulate a root at any directory in the path, not just at the volume.  This is useful for programs which have problems with deep directories or long path names (longer than 64 characters).
